It is with much regret that the WMHC committee has decided for the first time ever to cancel its show on the 11th/12th November. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience to those who have entered, and would like to thank you for your support. All entry fees will be refunded in full. The committee have worked really hard to make this show a success, offering a free bag of feed and entry into the 2 X $250 cash draw for members plus travel subsidies and entry into the 3 great sponsorship deals from The Horsewear House for everyone (including non-members) - this alongside our normal spot prizes and great goody bags. We are hoping we can carry the feed over until Feb - all other prizes will be carried over also.

Discussions on our costs on FB have been noted and although all the costs were vindicated by other clubs using the facilities at Cambridge Lodge it was unsettling for people and upsetting for the committee - however although we cannot change these costs we will survey people in the off season to see what else we can do to make the show more attractive .

We also note the scheduling factor discussed on FB and how having shows so close together in location and time is also an issue - we believe shows that are only 2 -3 hours away from each other do make people choose and absolutely no one can be blamed for choosing the one closest to their home - this needs to be sorted by NZMHA or all clubs will struggle to make any show viable.

Once again the committee would like to apologise for any inconvenience to those who entered - to say we are all gutted is an understatement but onward and upwards with planning for the next show!
